February 3rd- Podcast.

What:

This week we did a pod cast, it was something i have never done before 

so prolly a good experiance for me to have.

We also uploaded it to our sight, which i think is a good way to keep 

your class and parents informed. 

So What:

What does this mean to me as a future teacher, well i think that if you have 

parents and students (depending on the age) who are involved 

this is a really good way to communicate with them. 

I do think that you should have alternative ways to get all of the information

you need and want your students to hear though.

But i think its a good way to implement a connection between people.

If you are able to have children connect to an auditory assignment 

they might have a greater connection than reading.

Which also might be a struggle for some children.

Now What:

So my future plans with podcast would be to begin using them, 

organize what information i think would be most useful to share this way.

And overall do all that i can to become a better teacher.

Janurary 27th- Google: Part 2.

What.

This last week we did a rundown of a Google sight!

It was pretty intense, not necessarily hard just alot.

We learned how to create our own web sight, 

one in which parents and students should be able to navigate all around.

There is sources and information that i think very helpful
to make your class work as one.

When people are informed of what is going on,
they can have a better understanding of what is expected of them.

So What.

I believe this to be a rough draft of what i could
really accomplish with a future goal of this.

Setting up a classroom web sight.

It really is a helpful tool in creating flow in your class.

Now What.

Practice, Practice, Practice,

I think i got a good grasp of our Google part two assignment,
but there is so much more i could learn and perfect!

Goal: I'd like to work on improving my sight,
and learning from others what is an easy,
understandable way to display what i expect out of other and they can expect out of me!

January 20th- Google: Part 1.

What:

Google Part one.

I honestly never knew there was so much to Goggle,
and i have a feeling we have just begun.

I learned that you can do documents, presentations,
spreadsheets, and a calendar to name a few!

I have always been a Google fan,
but my extent of knowing about it was that is is a
helpful source in which i can find things where ever i am.
Finding information on anything and everything,
i can't quite imagine school with out it now.
And i love Google maps.
Also in different places it specifies where you are
and what is around you, its kind of amazing.

So What:

I am excited to broden my experience with a great source.
Even just to learn more about my Google account,
which i have had for a while and hardly used.
I'd like to be able to really utilize what i have,
and get past my older ways of just writing everything down.
I really like having a hard copy,
but I'd like to be able to rely on technology and trust it.

Now What: 

Continue to learn and expand my knowledge with the amazing sources we have :)

A little bit about me, currently i am a preschool teacher!

I graduated Fall 2010 in Early Childhood Education.

I have been working at a preschool for the past six years, i love it!

I think i have always had the passion for working with children and in high school it really developed to what exactly i wanted to do with that.

I want to further my education and experience in the education field, be able to help children all over the world!

This says a little bit more about me, i love to travel and see the world.

Last summer i had the chance to live in Toronto as a nanny, the opportunities are endless!

I come from a family of five children, where i fall is in the middle of four brothers :)

One of the things i consider to be a strength is the ability to get along with most humans. Something i consider to be a weakness is my horrible spelling, which with all the technology in the world you think it would be impeccable... its not!

I love to spend time with family and friends!

Photography, Scrapbooking and Reading are what i attempt to do in my free time.

Also i am continually working to become a better me!
